Bright Lights will be showcasing its traditional gifts while also introducing some new gift ideas. This bank holiday event is set to delight fun-loving families and sports fans, Gloucester Rugby is to host its ever-popular Beach Weekender once again, offering a whole weekend of activities from Saturday 26 to Monday 28 August 2017.
Following last year’s storming success, the waterside destination will be converted into a beach, with a rugby tournament, and the chance to meet the Gloucester Rugby players on Saturday.
Visitors can also expect a number of market stalls, along with tasty local food and drink, and the chance to get the real seaside experience with a visit to the sizzling beach barbecue.
With all this plus live music offering a brilliant backdrop throughout the weekend, and plenty of children’s activities, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.
Offering the rare chance to get up close to Gloucester’s sporting heroes, as well as the opportunity to have a beach break in the city, this event is sure to prove a family favourite this August bank holiday.
